DDA has launched a demolition drive in Mehrauli where a park housing protected ASI monuments. As the demolition continued today, those affected by the drive held a massive protest. Protesters also tried to throw chilli powder in the eyes of police personnel. The residents, however, claim that they have got the land registered in their name after paying hefty money. The demolition drive continues in the presence of large number of police personnel.
